Monday 19th March - 11am
SCHOOL WILL REMAIN CLOSED FOR THE REST OF THE DAY
Conditions on the B4000 remain too dangerous for staff/children to access school. The road has been closed between Welford and Shefford Woodlands with a jackknifed lorry blocking the road.
The plan remains for school to open as usual tomorrow.
Monday 19th March - 6.45am
Due to dangerously icy conditions the school will remain closed until 1pm today.
Children should be brought in to school after lunch and any absences for the afternoon reported in the normal way.
Assuming school is able to open as planned at 1pm Monday clubs will be on as usual.
SCHOOL CLOSURE UPDATE - 5.30pm 1.2.18
Following a very cold and snowy day, along with the forecast for further snowfall overnight, the school will remain closed on 2nd March for the safety of pupils, parents and staff.
We look forward to getting back to normal on Monday and hope that every one stays safe and warm over the coming few days.
WEATHER UPDATE - 10.30am 1.2.18
Apologies for the inconvenience caused with the closure of the school today. Looking ahead we have had an update from the council saying that they are now hoping that the weather will not be as bad tomorrow as once thought.
In an attempt to plan ahead as much as possible we would like to make you aware of the following;
- Reception trip to snowdrops will be cancelled regardless
- Achievers assembly will be cancelled regardless
- Disco will be moved to next week
A decision about Friday will be made by 8am tomorrow morning which will be communicated via text/website
